Institute of International Container Lessors Definition:

The Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) is an organization that represents container and chassis leasing companies worldwide.

IICL deals with leasing the container and chassis. It is also engaged in regulatory, customs, tax, governmental, technological, educational, and environmental issues on behalf of its members. The key functions of IICL are upholding standards, research, and education, promoting networking and collaboration, representing the interests of container leasing companies, and promoting eco-friendly strategies in container recycling.
