CSC Plate

CSC Plate Definition:

A Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) Plate is an identification on a container showing it has passed the required tests and standards.

A CSC identification plate shows that a container meets the minimum standards for weight, size, and capacity and its resistance to transport forces that may compromise the shipment. This valid safety approval plate contains the manufacturer's details, name, and location. It also shows the maximum gross weight that the container can haul. The container dimensions and type are also indicated on the CSC plate. The periodic details are shown on the plate if the container is subject to inspection renewal
