CW Certificate

CW Certificate Definition:

CW or cargo-worthy certificate is an approval document issued by a licensed inspector per container standards and regulations that confirms it is fit or suitable for shipping.

This certificate verifies that a container meets the set standards for shipping cargo; it's in excellent condition, structurally sound, and complies with all criteria for safe and secure shipping. The certificate may be subject to renewal with a specified validity period, upon which re-inspection is needed to ensure the container is in excellent condition to transport cargo. With a CW, the cargo is protected from potential damage, securing the interests of the shipper, consignee, and other parties.
