Flat Rack Container

Flat Rack Container Definition:

This uniquely designed container is used for shipping or storing heavy-duty and large cargo that cannot fit in a standard container.

This container is flat with the longer sides open and no roof, allowing loading and unloading of cargo from either side. It only has support posts on the ends. The flat rack container comes in two categories: collapsible and non-collapsible. When the cargo is loaded, it's secured using straps on designated securement points on the flat rack container. Securing the load on the flat rack is similar to the flatbed trailer process. Also, like standard containers, you can stack flat racks on each other.
